Return to work interview

Sorry if this as been discussed before i am new here, i need information about return to work interviews
1) What is the timescale for a return to work interview after illness
2) Is there a maximum time IE 21 days
3) if yes to question 2 what is it
4) If time runs out can i refuse to have one or sign to say i have had one
5) If time runs out and i am issued with a warning for absent can i refuse it.

This came about after i had a operation in 2011 it was about 11 weeks after i returned to work, now i have had a week off for injury (done at work) and been back to work for over a week still no interview

A return to work interview is not to be feared it generally is to ask for assistance or any problems that royal mail welfare support can help with but make sure you are consistent with your illness. It is the stage one or two trigger interview you need your rep in for.

Thanks for your reply, it not the interview i am worried about it is the length of time after i return to work before i get the interview surely there must be a limit to how long they have to conduct an interview

in our office r to w interview is supposed to be done within 24 hours.Its an informal interview so no rep is normally present.However all minutes are recorded so if you have anything to say or you would like atos involved its your opportunity.For the record when a stage 1 is triggered and considered ,you could argue that the procedure was not done correctly
