Donation to Labour Party

Just seen Newsnight which mentioned that the Labour Party have asked all affiliated Unions pay the affiliation fees for next year early (now) - Newsnight see this as another indication that there is going to be an election soon.

I hope the CWU tell them to p**s off. We should not be giving them a penny until this dispute is resolved.

Anyone know how I get odds at the bookies for a November election and the calling off of CWU strikes.

Labour have asked for donations to be brought forward - Election.

Royal Mail had talks with CWU Monday and are upbeat about reaching an agreement. Talks continuing today.

Billy and Dave know that they are probably on the way out. They will need new jobs to maintain their current standard of living. What bets for them to give the funds and call off the strikes.

Anybody know how to get the bets?

Yes just go in to any bookies and ask they'll lay anything but if you want to do it on your PC go to betfair.com on sports page go to politics price is very low (Dec 2007 or Earlier) 1.6 (8/13) but changes every couple of minutes oh as im writing this its just changed again to 8/15 which is £15 to win £8

At this early stage I note that the vote is showing 100% against the union paying it's affiliation funds early. Do the top brass at the CWU look at this site and does it have any influence?

we were told that we arent paying the labour party anything at the moment anyway as it has all been spent on the IA.

I am not interested in politics. I vote on what I believe will benefit me and my family.

As a postal worker I voted Labour last time and the time before that. Previously I had voted Lib Dems and before that Conservative.

Next time it will be UKIP.

Why? Well I have had enough of all political parties, but I honestly believe we need something new. At least thwe policies of UKIP are about Great Brittain. Forget EU. I hate the fact that all europeans can come here, take our benefits and undermine our industrial agreements because they are prepared to work for a song. Then they send their money back home.
We dont have that luxury. What we earn stays here to subsidise government spending. I cant send my pay to Yorkshire because the cost of living is cheaper.

Bollocks to the labour party. I want a decent wage, a pensions that we have always expected, and respect for that I have accepted low pay for benefits that will at least make life bearable in pensionable years. Basically I have been shafted for years on pay, and now I am going to be shafted in retirement.

Lets have a revolution. The people must speak now or become another Burma.
