Resign Opt Out
Does anybody know what the proper criteria is for opting out of a repick resign . I know a change in start times can trigger a repick/resign.
If my start time has changed but my duty struture remains the same , does my duty have to go into the resign or can I opt out.

if duty stays the same, and start time is less than 30 mins different, you don't have to go in resign. wayforward agreement.matt166 wrote:Does anybody know what the proper criteria is for opting out of a repick resign . I know a change in start times can trigger a repick/resign.

Re: Resign Opt Out
dont think the wayforward agreement states that, cant find any reference to a 30 minute clause anywhere in itsilly suffolk wrote:if duty stays the same, and start time is less than 30 mins different, you don't have to go in resign. wayforward agreement.matt166 wrote:Does anybody know what the proper criteria is for opting out of a repick resign . Re: Resign Opt Out
yes it does unfortunately and even if the start time stayed the same there would have to be absolutely no change whatsoever to your duty to stop it going into the resign ie all delivery points the same, delivery method same and indoor work exactly as it is nowmatt166 wrote:Does anybody know what the proper criteria is for opting out of a repick resign . Re: Resign Opt Out
ive been through a few revisions/resigns, and if a duty stays the same you don't go in the resign, if you don't want, i take your point about the 30 mins, and in effect if a duty changes buy that time the details will probably alter. its late ,im half pissed and confused.zx135 wrote:dont think the wayforward agreement states that, cant find any reference to a 30 minute clause anywhere in itsilly suffolk wrote:if duty stays the same, and start time is less than 30 mins different, you don't have to go in resign. wayforward agreement.matt166 wrote:Does anybody know what the proper criteria is for opting out of a repick resign . RESOURCING JOBS AS A RESULT OF MAJOR CHANGE INTRODUCTION
http://www.cwu-e4.co.uk/Resourcing_Jobs_Way_Forward.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
CHANGE CRITERIA
The following criteria should be applied to determine which duties have been significantly changed and are proper to be included in the re-sign:
.the duty/work content has changed by at least 25% e.g. from Mech. to manual or vice versa
.the duty has changed from indoor work to outdoor work or vice versa (staff employed on loading bay/platform duties will be classed as outdoor)
.the shift or skill allowance applicable to a duty has changed, either up or down
.there has been a change in the duty holder's opportunity to sign for Scheduled Attendance, e.g. change in driving content to over four hours
.the attendance start or finish time has changed by 30 minutes or more. So that the duty holder's personal or domestic circumstances prevent them from attending at the new time or finishing at the new time-
.new duties should also be added to those identified as significantly changed, when considering whether there has been a third of the total duties affected.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

ahh see the difference now, this is not the agreement, just guidelines on how to implement itzx135 wrote:thats actually quite interesting, do you know this is not actually in the way forward agreement download thats available from this site? i wonder what else is missing from itfishtank wrote:You're not that pissed suffolk.silly suffolk wrote:ive been through a few revisions/resigns, and if a duty stays the same you don't go in the resign, if you don't want, i take your point about the 30 mins, and in effect if a duty changes buy that time the details will probably alter. its late ,im half pissed and confused.

Re: Resign Opt Out
It does actually form part of the agreement,it is a revision of sections 16 due to legal changes and problems flagged up which were not dissimilar to this one in that reps, managers and members were arguing over what constituted change either at duty level or office level.zx135 wrote:ahh see the difference now, this is not the agreement, just guidelines on how to implement it
This is not so much guidelines as a fix,a patch,a software update.
Section 16(V2)...if you like.
