Returning employment contract.

Post by Mattex1234 »

I have recently been offered a job at my local royal mail depot as a postman. I have just received my contract after receiving an e-mail a week ago telling me what to return with my contact, however my phone has died on me and I have lost the e-mail. Just wondering if anyone can offer any advice on where I could get hold of the downloadable documents I need to send back.

Thanks

Yess! Thats exactly it! I think there was something about ordering uniform aswel?

Do you know which of these are essential to send back with the contract?

Thank you

You will not be allowed to order any uniform until you've attended your induction day.

Ah that works thanks. So when I return my contract shall I just return it with the 'agreement to work additional hours' and 'your health' form?

I just found another thread with this in it. Do you know where I can download the 'expression of wish' form?

1. A signed contract (one copy only, please retain the other copy for your information) which will be posted out to you.

2. Your completed P45 (or if you don’t have this from your previous employer, then please print and complete the attached P46).

3. A completed Expression of Wish Form (this form is to provide us with details in respect of payment for the lump sum death in service benefits).

Also attached is information which you should read prior to your starting date and which should be retained for future reference.

Your pay number will be on the contract they sent out. You need to send p45/46, health form, expression of wish form, and working time directives form (if not opting out).

Just thought i'd ask on an existing thread

If you want to change your nominees for the Expression of Wish form, do you hand a new form to a manager, or post it somewhere (if the latter, where?)
