PAID MEAL RELIEF ON OVERTIME

Hi Guys, wonder if you can help.
I currently work 3 days a week but regularly work at least one of my rest days and receive basic pay up to 39 hours which I understand.
However boss and colleagues tell me I don't get paid meal relief on the overtime days.
The only evidence I can find is from the Way Forward Agreement of 2000 (page 22) which would indicate that I should be paid for my break:-

"Overtime and Schedule Attendance

Attendances consisting wholly of overtime, or of Scheduled Attendance on Sunday, should attract paid breaks based on the length of the attendance as in the table above. Attendances consisting wholly of weekday SA should attract unpaid breaks on the same basis, at least one of which must be schedule within the attendance rather than at the beginning or end. Where there is a gap of up to 59 minutes between duty and overtime (but not Scheduled Attendance, except on Sunday) that cannot be filled with useful work, this will be considered booked through time and paid for at normal overtime rates."

Does this still stand or has a subsequent agreement changed the rules?

Any conclusive proof either way would be great.

As far as I know that hasn't changed and still holds the field. I think they are trying it on.

Speak to your rep, HR and if necessary go above the rep to the ADR.

Unless you are being paid Scheduled Attendance for working your day off, then you are entitled to a paid meal relief.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

show them a copy of 2000 way backwards agreement and tell them to show you any different agreement. and if they cant prove othewise then 2000 agreement still stands put them on the back foot to prove you wrong etc

They're trying it on to either save money or get more work out of you. We always get a paid break when on o/t, it isn't even an issue.
Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a Rep.
