Could someone point me in the right direction here. I am working for Parcelfarce and want to transfer over to RM to become a postie mainly due to the hours as I work constant noons, have done for 5 years, and it's pissing me off (there are other issues that our manager doesn't seem to give a s**t about, but that's another story). The local depot is about 10 min walk from where I am. How would I go about initiating a transfer request? Is there a number to ring or would I be better going to see the RM depot manager? Also I have noticed that there only seems to be part time jobs being advertised on the RM job site but I thought I read somewhere that as part of on ongoing thing to improve the business, RM were going to start setting more people on FT and less on PT? Maybe I made that last bit up

I don't really want to leave the business as I will have a good pension when I retire but I am thinking that this is starting to become the only option left.

Just go to local delivery office and have a chat with the manager to see what is available and possible.
