I have applied for it and fill in the right form and give it to line manager. I got to book last week of annual leave and I won't do it until I know if I got extra leave or not. I asked them to tell me if I got 4 or 5 weeks off. They won't tell me.
How can I find out ?

In the new leave year the term POAL will appear on your pay chits.
Beyond that I don't think you get any notification - at least I didn't.

you could try ringing HR (no on reverse of pay chits) they would have to set it up before April anyway.

ask your manager for confirmation receipt for poal. If they don't do it ask for a grievance.
