Royal Mail rings changes delivery routes in Brighouse

ROYAL Mail is making changes to its delivery routes in Brighouse over the next few weeks.

Under alterations, postmen and women will continue to deliver in the morning and for a longer period during the day and many customers will continue to get their mail by lunchtime.

Customers may get their mail earlier or later in the day than currently, depending on where they live on the new delivery routes.

Royal Mail is writing to households, businesses and other organisations in the HD6 postcode area about the changes.

The company has already announced similar changes to delivery routes in parts of the Colne Valley.

Royal Mail said the changes were needed to maintain services and to keep prices as low as possible. The changes also reflect a fall in the number of letters posted and an increase in the number of parcels with the rise in online retailing.
