may be worth hanging on,its easy to say but if you have a few years behind you i would wait
this time next year things will change.if you must go try for e.v.r get something out of royal mail dont just leave.

may be worth hanging on,its easy to say but if you have a few years behind you i would wait
this time next year things will change.if you must go try for e.v.r get something out of royal mail dont just leave.
Same here , with 26 yrs in I'd hate to jump even though I'm desperate to get out :sad:

If you had an underlying medical condition you could go for Ill Health Retirement and get a nice fat pay off to leave; please correct me if i am wrong but i think its worth at least £20k.

What good is 20k when you would get no sickness benefit until you spend it all, and then to top it all atos tell you to get a job because you are fit for work. Your f****** either way in this scenario.

Don't quit Royal Mail unless you

1. Have won the lottery / euro lottery / pool
2. Marry a rich lady/gentleman
3. Have a new job ?
4. Hit a windfall due to you late uncle leaving you money.
5. is retiring from work
6. having a baby to care
7. emigrating to another country.
8. Starting your own business.
