Hi, i have had money deducted from my wages due to over payment for the polling cards last year.I don't agree with the amount does anyone know if i can phone up wages dept and speak to someone as my manager knows nothing.

ok, so we all know that when we deliver the polling cards, we count them and tell the dim what we got and get paid for it.

But this shows that they already know or at least do sometime later after they have paid us out.

so, firstly, why do they ask us to count them if they know ( after all it's all computer done anyway ) how many we have delivered and secondly, they take back anything that they have overpaid us, BUT do they give you the extra if you undercounted!!! I don't think so.

if money is being reclaimed from you, you should have sat down with your line manager for him/her to explain why you have been overpayed and then a repayment plan put in place if you agree with the overpayments. to just take the money without this process is wrong.
