hi all we are having our revision in june can i refuse to drive royal mail vans ???

Nope, you'll find that it's part of your contract if you started in the past 10 years.

Of course you could always try for a HCT round :Very Happy

keep copies of every piece of crap (literature)that they give you so that you can quote them when and i mean when your revision fails.because they will lie through their teeth to get your revision through and then bend the rules when it suits you.

In my unit some were told to attend conversions outside of their duty hours, and threatened with disciplinary action if they refused. They got o/t, but that isn't the point. They should have had apointments for conversions during duty hours, but then the lino's would have had to cover the deliveries :crazy: which they were either too lazy or too incompetent (most likely) to do. :dance

If you have already had the conversion then No, you will have to drive. You can iirc refuse to take a conversion though, unless driving was a stipulation of your contract.
