The Courier...How to ruin your Day!

Post by General Mannerheim »

So nice day off....slept in till 9 o'clock, dreaming I was hitting the lino and DOM with a baseball bat..all good
Nice big pot of proper coffee, none of the instant crap, music on for an hour or two then a nice walk in the sunshine to town.
Pint and a pie in my favourite pub,big cheque from the tax man in the bank :nana
Lovely walk back home, wave to the postie doing ours..kerr splat sound of mail hitting the floor not long afterwards ..oh look it's The Courier might as well look through it.
Oh f**k British Gas and there f***ing tote boxes, what's that we've won a big order for them smart meters to be collected.... marvellous!
Coming to a site near you.
WCM oh joy of joys it sounds a right good scheme I can't wait to `improve my techniques` I'm sure this will be a resounding success in our office, I particularly look forward to wondering how you can possibly stop all causes of accidents..err hows that work then they are after all `accidents`.
Best Foot Forward.
Well this sounds good trials of new footware(didn't they also trial the crappy magnums or was that another back hander :hmmmm )although I'm not convinced having a shoe called Hermes is a good idea,I see it more of a our delivery is shite and going to the scale of that horrendous Hermes packet lot than the messenger of the gods. :left:
Centre Spread of Delivering change.
More Royal Mail Revisions are great propaganda All is well and peaceful in the valleys.
Employee Survey 2013..make sure you have your survey in pop pickers coming to you real soon.
Pg 14 sees my favourite spot...Court In The Act.
This is more great spin on how we are all really thieving bar stewards and how RM takes people to court, it would be better if it had more cases of when RM are thrashed in the courts off sacked or bullied posties etc but they have to protect their image...right?
Pg 18...sees the usual guff about Christmas and how the mail must get through,I was particularly amazed to read how Prestwich staff dealt with no heating...wow so inspiring,it's always nice to know that a cuppa tea and the old British bulldog spirit shines through (got nothing to do with arselicking and being scared of saying up yours you can't provide any heating ta ta I'm off home! )
Why do I continue to put myself through reading this shite?
You would think after 20 plus years of RM bullshite and propaganda that I would know better but I will probably find myself tearing open the next issue   ,there must be some medical term for it or is it like some sort of Hitler,Iranian ministry of propaganda piece that makes you want to believe it? :hmmmm
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!
The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09
Royal Mail is an Equal Opportunities Employer..It discriminates against everybody.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

instead of moaning about the courier do what i did. email them and HR and they take you off the mailing list, i did this and haven`t had a copy for about 3 years.
this also stops the courier specials and charity rubbish etc... being sent to your home address.

Right then that's definitely made me an Eastenderdale viewer from now on - I stopped watching when I realised they employed a couple of tossers as postmen who made me look shite on delivery - especially when one customer said "Massoods' finished his delivery by midday so where have you been idle bastard". But now RM have put them on the right path to a normal delivery routine well......................:chuckle :chuckle Maybe they could promote Massood to a Planner or a Pillar in the WCM scheme or a Manager with an attitude and show him bullying his former workmates and refusing to pay overtime.......christ I could write the scripts :cuppa

Talking about planners. Anyone see that guy on The Chase tonight. A Royal Mail Planner, won himself £6K against the beast. He was asked by Bradley Walsh what his job entailed and he muffled something about planning for Christmas and other planning.Everything except duty planning.
