POAL refunds?

Hi, does anyone know if a refund is due on cancelled POAL payments? I just called my office manager to cancel mine as today, 28th Feb 2013 is the cut off day for the year apparently. I've been a postman for fourteen years changed offices twice, dropped down to part time and hadn't even thought about the POAL payments until they started to appear on the new payslips last year. I've been paying for extra leave but not taking it for at least four years. I can't find a copy of the 2004 contract but if anyone can help me out I'd be very grateful. Thank you.

I did, they were particuarly unhelpful/uninterested....Computer says no. Well, I did find out from her about the deadline being today (strange coincidence)

About five years ago I changed address, moved offices, was forced to drop down to 24 hours per week. I guess I just took my eye off the ball so to speak. POAL was not shown as a deduction on my wage slips in those days (how did they get away with that?) I guess I just assumed after I dropped down to 24 hrs the deal was null and void as my entitlement went to five weeks again.
