Just coming up for 12 years service and pay £10.23 a week for extra holidays. Just wondered if this figure is correct and how much holidays I am entitled too?

On a standard 5 day attendance your basic entitlement is 23.5 days.
Purchasing leave takes that entitlement up to 30 days so you purchase 6.5 days.
Exactly how much you pay weekly will depend on your pay rate but around £10 sounds about right.

As an entitlement yes.

Of course for emergencies you have the different special leaves, and a further 8 (or 9) days Bank Holidays.

with new tax rate and increased payrise you won't be worse off and get extra week. I don't think we will noticed something like 2 pints a week amount.
