i need some help

I've have just been off work for a operation to try and correct my hearing so that I no longer have to wear hearing aids. When I have gone back to work they are trying to give me a stage one for my time off for this, I don't thinnk that this is right. I hope someone can help or even some advice would be great.

dont hold ur breath iv been issued with 2 stage 1s both for A.O.D. royal even had to pay compo for 1 of them but still didnt stop them issuing them

No - it isn't right but it is very typical of the environment we are currently working in.
You cannot appeal the decision but you can use the Grievance Procedure if you feel strongly about it.
Rest assured if ever you got to a stage 3, it would almost certainly be overturned because of the initial decision to issue a stage 1.
They want to piss you off. Don't let them.
