Went Home From Work Sick

Hello,

I went home from work sick today but feel a lot better now, so will be back at work tomorrow. Will today be counted towards my sick days?

It will still show as a part absence on your sick record, but assuming you weren't there for only 10 minutes, it shouldn't be used for the purposes of the Attendance Procedure.

ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR DIM, I went in with a migraine, stayed for 1hr 15m of a 5 hour day and got done for a whole day's sick.

I ve had to go home a few times over the years after turning in.

The last time i offered to stay and prep my walk to make it easier to get it covered on OT. Still got done a whole days sick. Should not bothered.

next time I get a migraine etc, I will just take a week off instead as it all counts as the same sickness anyway :P

There is a download on here somewhere that explained this, I'm sure Fishtank would be able to point you in the right direction
. I've used it many times. if notice has not been given in writing the part day absence cannot be used against you in attendance procedure. it's called something like Attendance Clarifications. I'll look it up tomorrow as the beer is in at the moment. :)

thought as long as you had worked over 1 hour it should only count as a part day
