Am I right in saying that, as a part timer whose frame should be completely ready for the beginning of my shift, I am not subject to any sorting test (such as the 1 minute prep test that I know is the ONLY agreed method)? If yes/no - does this also count in scheduled attendance (earlier start)? Am I also right in saying that they have no right to assess my outdoor ability as an agreed measurement approach doesn't exist? It's that tedious harassment technique rearing its head again when the walk is simply unachievable...
I've done a quick search but can't find the relevant outdoor performance documents.

Not necessarily it will depend on what your duty 318 actually states you should be doing, it will determine what your indoor element of your duty is, really if you have more than about 30 min indoor time excluding breaks then it will likely include some sorting

you can be subject to them, they cant really do much with the results though if you are not "paid to sort mail"

then you are being "paid to sort mail" so yes it would count then but all they could really do in this case is if you were that bad take you off scheduled attendance

they cant assess your outdoor ability but they can test your duty and then if the duty passes as do able by you in the time allotted and you cant get close to doing it in time when it isnt being tested then you might have problems, if they do test it make sure you insisted you do the delivery and that your area rep goes out on the delivery
