Im pleased to declare I did my best to make sure my gaffers got nothing above and beyond from me, dont work over dont run round, dont go in before time, dont work past it. Im sure those that work for nowt and run round with bags on their shoulders will be rewarded by their gaffers...

Enjoy it fools, while my jobs a stroll in the park....wonder what split my gaffer will be delivering for me tomorrow

Well said, but there aint many of us left I'm afraid. Too many worried for their jobs. Moya's boys know in an employers market running up to privatisation, they've got em by the short & curlies.
If only we could persuade more to do the job properly and not give into to all this intimidation.

Our union said he can't ask people if they can start at there time ,,even just for a week to see the mess it would be with out ppl coming in hours before there time. Is it illegal to do that? He s in well before his time too and out door first too ,,,,

Sadly we are the minority, Union powerless on what is a massively serious matter....
Hours and hours could be put back into most offices that are post revision, if only it wasnt for selfish tossers

I have no fundamental objection to bonus schemes for managers, or OPGs for that matter. The problem with the current managers bonus scheme is that it fails two of the fundamental principles of good incentive scheme designs which is firstly that it should be reasonably straightforward and simple to understand and secondly that the employees working towards that bonus should be able to directly influence it (without this it is merely a payment scheme rather than an incentive scheme). The current scheme is convoluted and overly complicated and there are a large number of managers (admin/planners/support) who cannot influence it but still reap the benefits.

In my old health and safety rep days you were only insured 10 mins before your start time.

So, very illegal if thats still the case !

You're insured just as long as you're an employee and have business on the premises otherwise we could only work our contracted hours.
