Does royal mail give you anything for reaching this milestone?
My reason for asking is that my partner has just done 30 years and has received NOTHING. No letter, no certificate no acknowledgement, absolutely diddly squat. Not a happy bunny. :cry

Yes, they used to anyway. I reached 30 years in 2011. I received a RM lapel badge, a certificate set in a plastic block, and a brochure with a list of gifts to choose from. I chose £250 worth of John Lewis vouchers which I used for a new washing machine, as my old one was on it's last legs.
It might take a while until he gets these, if they still do it. I think I got mine about 6 months later. And I got an invite to spend a day at a racecourse about a year later, but I didn't reply to that.

Depends if you are a DOM or not .
If you are a DOM you get a 62% bonus

I am sure I got £150 in vouchers for 30 years, 3 years ago?

You're probably right there. I couldn't remember how much it was.
It's probably £250 for processing staff that hit 30 years and £150 delivery staff that hit 30 years because we always get the dirty end of the stick. :crazy:
