Meeting with managers while off with deprestion

Hi there, i got signed of with depression for 1month on 21st january. I have just had a phone call from my line manager to say that we should me up on monday. I am worried he might issue a stage warning, my questions our
1, is he allowed to contact me while of with depression.
2, am i obliged to meet.
3, can they issue stage warnings while im still off.
Im not sure as stages work but untill this ive not been off in over year and a half. I am unsure if im off for amonth with same illness will it just be a stage1 or will they jump to stage 2,

you have to have a return to work interview first, when you go back to work, not while you are off on the sick and only then once you have returned to work... they will call you in for a stage warning, from which you can explain your reasons for your absence... management will make a decision on the absences there after.. and not before..

you wont be issued with a stage whilst still off sick.
they are allowed to keep contact whilst off sick

if you do meet insist on having a rep present

It just worried me that he wants to meet adsactly 14days of me being off.

It'll no doubt be a pressure tactic to get you to return to work before you're ready. I would decline the offer.

cheers, im not ready so noway they'll presure me, doc wants me to have ecg 1st which is on wedneday then 14days for results, and when atos rang me they said to stay off for the full note and they will ring me closer to the time,

they will try and get you back to work early on gradual increase of hours.
i had this happen to me then the area manager sent me a letter saying he would like to see me, and that if i did not meet him he would consider stopping my wages.
i went to meet him with my branch rep.
the point i made was that i was off with work related stress/depression and his insistance on a meeting was not helping my recovery.
fell on deaf ears
