working out of red sleeves

in our office they are getting rid of ALTS and been told we have to work out of red sleeves . At the moment we work four to a 56 dbf two each side.With a red sleeve it causes a lot more bending and twisting is there any rules about this, two out a sleeve is slower and backbreaking

We've been sorting from red sleeves for a couple of years iirc, so presumably it is allowed under H&S. I thought most mcs do this now.

We've done it from Red Shrouds (actually any colour) for about 5 years now and to be honest I prefer it.

The floor raises higher than an alt does, and it seems to have more resistance when only half full. Certainly I don't think we bend as far as we did with Alts and they take up less space.

At some point RM will get rid off all the alts and koffins from every office in the country as mainly they don't have brakes on them.
