My old office went P&L in Nov 2011.

Usual happened, big mess up and wasn't working first of all as most people were doing the job properly.

Anyway, 15 months down the line most are coming in early, rushing round with bags on back and the 4 dayers have a van each so they are making it work most of the time.

Just learned that RM now want to take another 150 hours out of the office.

Some people never learn!

Because I really used to like the job and hate the way things are going for my former colleagues and everybody else that still works for RM.

I would never have left if P&L hadn't started, I had my own walk which I did by bike, lovely people on the walk,mostly great people to work with and only just over a mile commute each way every day, it really was ideal!

Obviously it doesn't bother me as much as if I was still working there but I posted this as a warning to others.

I can't help it, I still give a toss!

I don't understand how they do this.
We had to justify every single van for our revision, so where are these extra vans coming from for them to have one each.
Isn't there a bean counter somewhere worrying themselves into an early grave if there are excess vans/excess costs in a unit?
Or are some people using their car to free up the extra vans?
