7.48 hours but you get the same money you would if you got paid 8 hours because your hourly rate is now weekly pay divided by 39 not 40.

Say you got paid £400 for 40 hours that's £10 an hour.
Now you get paid £400 for 39 hours that's £10.25 an hour.

In the past you worked an 8 hour day at £10/hr that's £80.
Now you work a 7hr 48 min day at £10.25/hr that's £80.

A part timer's hourly rate is the same as a full-timer's.
That is why when the full-timers went to a 39 hour week the part-timers got a pay rise.

It's not 7.48 hours it's 7hrs 48mins which in calculator language is about 7.8 hours.
