D2D-new scattergun approach!!

We're a large office who have been sending back too many d2d's(roughly 2-4 yorks a week),this week our DOM has implimented a new scheme which has enabled him to not send so much back.He's shared out all the dumped (quite a few bad apples in the office) d2d's to every walk and told us to filter them in with our own.Some people this week have been delivering 'january sale' d2d's and pizza leaflets to an area that the pizza company is'nt local to.
I thought we took this work on as targeted advertising to requested areas,is this scheme RM official policy?

Surely that's fraud on the part of the manager. The companies that paid for D2D's have a contract with Royal Mail to deliver them at the right time to the right locations.

Why not tell everyone to leave any left over D2D's at the end of the bench, taking away the D2D 'bin'

Why would you deliver d2d that are not for your walk ?

Managment have to send a report on every household ,they also have to report how many items are returned it doesnt look good on there behalf if there are hundreds of d2d being returned So that is there simple solution .But if there are hundreds of d2ds being left then somebody is not doing them, its there job to find out instead of taking the easy option .
