driving allowance small wheel

i was a driver in a delivery office and got paid £6.00 a week for about 20 yrs. i transferd down to my local mail centre to do collections but do not get the driving allowance any more.I've anquried about this and was told if i was driving and geting allowance before 2006 i might still be intitled to the allowance? can anybody tell if that is so many thanks

If u have transfered voluntary then im afraid u lose all allowances u may have been entitled to before,if not then pursue them as its not your fault u have moved and u should not be out of pocket for doing so.

if you drove before 31 jan 2000, and have driven ever since, you retain allowance as reserved rights.

Not true suffolk.
It's only retained as long as you remain in the same job as you did as of 31st Jan 2000.
Even moving from one driving job to a different driving job loses the payment.

well i suppose i should keep stum, but everyone i know who drove before said date and have continued to drive have kept said allowance. i can't believe theres a duty out there thats the same as 31 jan 2000.

it was ten pounds till 2001
