Part time - full time after revision

Our revision is due in May and people on 32 hour contracts are desperate to be made up to full time. Has anyone had this happen to them in other offices where the revision has happened?

At least 4 made up to full-time from part-time in our office... About 60+ staff. One or two more senior 32 hours refuse to be made up despite initial interest; Why?

Because the new 39-hrs posties have now gone to the bottom of the 39-hrs group; meaning most of them bar one will more likely become Floaters or RESERVES in the Repick...

One of them is considering going back down to 32 hours. Even one or two on 32 hours is thinking of going to 27.5 hours to be top of the list of the 27.5 group. And this postie is one of the docket kings - so he is banking on history of working more than 40 hours anyway due to absence.

Well that is a moot point, we had part timers made up to full time on temporary contracts whilst the revision was bedded in and 2 years later were still substantive part timers on full time hours - some did get full time in the end when the union made a stand.

Well that is a moot point, we had part timers made up to full time on temporary contracts whilst the revision was bedded in and 2 years later were still substantive part timers on full time hours - some did get full time in the end when the union made a stand.

how is it a moot point,he didnt say made up on a temporary basis,nether did i, you did. temporary yes they can swap it back,but a signed contract no they cannot,ok?

Well you still sign a contract for the new temporary position but hey who the feck cares.
