Secret Letters
I've read a few threads where RM send letters out on rounds where dishonesty is suspected. I have no security issues, just a curious mind.
How do they actually do it?
How do they choose addresses?
How do they monitor the 'special mail' sent out?
How many letters would be sent?
Just wondering.

Its not just the IB that send them out for investigations.
But local management should also send out test letters for every duty on a regular basis. Also there is the "secret" panellists who allegedly have RFID readers installed at home and log all mail in and out - this is where RM get their data on whether they have hit their targets . Plus of course there is the Customer Service questionnaire you see stuck onto some letters and packets.
On the IB side you won't be able to get full details on how they do it but I guess it would be a combination of door knocking, getting volunteers and technology - too many to worry about, and to be honest of little concern if you are an honest chap.

They have ex-military satellites watching every move you make i heard,also they take your fingerprints from coffee cups...and they're lizards but i never told you that.

They put red cards in amongst ure D2Ds as well to make sure that you have done them properly. You don't deliver the cards though instead you give them to your manager (shove them up his ass).

I was a bit worried about all the tactics used to catch dishonest posties......until i realised that it relied on managers actually doing something to set the traps.
