Hi
Me again, If you are part time on a 6 hour day contract what should be done? I.E when you get in should your job be thrown up? Door to Doors in? Start time is 9 till 3 so im assuming that the job should be ready to go and that you should only have to put your 2nd lot of coded in when it comes? Is that right?

If my office is anything to go by (all our PT are 30 hrs)... come in 30-45 minutes early. Leave the office as soon as the IPS is finished and finish 2 hours early.
In all seriousness though, what you are expected to do will vary from office to office. But, assuming a 4hr ish delivery span, I would expect someone on a 6hr day to be doing most of their own preping. Obviously the longer the delivery span the less time you have for indoor work so then more need to be done for you. At the end of the day you just do what you can do in your hours. If you come in at 9 and nothing has been preped then once you finish preping it all see your manager and tell him you don't have time to complete the delivery and what you will need to leave.

no a 4hr 15min say delivery, add tie down 30 mins, add break 30 mins, add conveyance to and from duty 30 mins=5.45, leaves 15min to do all his prep, dont fink so!!!!

Am on 6 hour day. If I don't fancy the OT (quite often) then I cut the absorption bit... and sometimes more.
