Any City/town centre offices had the planners in yet?

We are due to have them soon.
Our own office combines thousands of business addresses with more and more residential dwellings being built all the time.
We would like to know how other offices like ours who deliver in cities/towns,etc have got on and could they offer the benefit of their own experience in any way to help us prepare for when the planners arrive.
Any help or advice(tips) would be very much appreciated.

It would be almost impossible to advise in the specific due to the location of the office and the spread of work. One thing I would say is get your rep involved right from the start and have him keep everyone abreast of what the planners are doing - one thing I would say is if your/anyones gut feeling that the duty/duties the planners come up with is wrong - then say so. One word of caution though, you cannot just say NO - there must be a plausible reason and if possible a reasonable and suitable alternative that still fulfils the criteria of the agreement/plan.
