Saturday was my day off, on Friday I was asked if I'd work if needed and I said OK (it was an easy round to cover). Anyway he said he'd confirm with me later in the day that he wanted me. As he didn't ring I made plans for the Saturday but come the morning he was ringing up asking where I was. I said I'm off because you didn't confirm you wanted me like you said. Went in today and he completely blanked me when I said good morning. Everytime we passed each other he looked the other way lol. Apparently they were really stuck on Saturday because of it so he had to take some out. :left: I don't think I was unreasonable though by saying no after he said he'd confirm?

Piss up and brewery come to mind, has he never heard of pen and paper, just like the 'managers' at my place, you ask them something yes no problem 5 minutes later they havent got a cvlue what you just said, wonder were they get these people from.

That is a lesson for him or her to learn... I bet next time, he will have you in on a Saturday regardless of whether he needed you or not, He is lucky he has someone ready to work a 'day-off saturday' at the same rate.

My DOM refuses to deliver mail because he says he didnt get his payrise last year as promised :Boo hoo!

A few months ago a lino sent me home by mistake, thinking it was my day off. I went home and he hasn't spoken to me since....result. :dance
