union and making peoples hours up

so whats the deal with the union saying if you work a lot of overtime over a 6 month period and have proof then the DOM has to make your hours up to compensate for this?

i.e. if you are on a 25 hr contract and constantly do 32 then you should have a 32 hr contract.

Is this right and does anyone have any info or documents regarding this?

job security agreement. came in last summer. a lot of good stuff in it. see your rep to get a copy.

• Part time employees will be given the opportunity to increase their contracted hours in line with the hours they actually work.

so we talk to our union rep regarding this providing him info from our payslips? Does this actually work or do the just consider you

within the dly function i know of several p/timers who have had their contract of employment increased to 39 hours by quoting this agreement. good luck.
