Yes locker jobs/ DOM support and callers are all specialist job's so they say so you may have your work cut out but all the best.

Wrong you need to pass a suitability test and your attendance record/stage warnings and interview with DOM so you can have all the years service you want but if the face don't fit the bum don't sit.

We are soon due to do our repick,
Now as some of you know I have had bigg issues with my dom for the past couple of years,
culminating in me being off sick for the last 6 weeks with depression,
any way RM wanted to get me back to work

Now I am 8th in senirority and can drive. Imade it known in the last six months that I wanted to go back to driving
so part of the round I do was going to be park n loop, to me it was not going to work, so I thought about just picking a driving duty that was not P&*L, and basically put a stop to all the bullying harrassment.

Had a meeting with a RM manager who's said that i need not wait for the repick that they would be able to ring fence a duty I explainded the duty and he said that he would tell the DSM/ my dom to put this duty aside, I had my reservations as I know my manager last year refuted the delivery duty that I had made up, but he insisted no problen I could have the duty,

What happens a day latter my dom refused it .

1.So now I cannot ring fence a duty

2, I have been told via sources that the duty I was going to pick into the P&L that management don't want me to pick into it because of my 3hr only delivery .

my impression is that I should be able to pick a duty and they build it around me ? why is my manager allowed to pick and choose what i can do .

We are in the middle of a resign and all the Specialist duties went into the pot. The DOM advertised them all on the board for 4 weeks before commencing interviews for those who applied. So if you are going to include them make sure they are advertised weeks before you start the repick. Its not a matter of those who fancy the job when it gets to their name because suitability and then the time getting them trained up comes into play.

The office I work in had started the revision last year, duties changed last August 6 months on there has not been a repick and no talk of one, I am a reserve and get moved about a lot I would like opportunity to pick my own delivery. I ask the manager about repick but does not give an answer to if or when.

why is my manager allowed to pick and choose what i can do .
