You are intitled to your full meal relief before commencement of your duty, why would you only want to take part of it?

Because if you're only in the office for 1 1/2 hours then you really need your break part way through your delivery, delivering for 5 hours + really takes it's toll especially if you can't stop for a break.

Hmm in our office the majority of people don't have a break at all. They gallop out to get finished as soon as possible.

I thought managers were trying to force individuals out on delivery, without a full break.....

2 hours 30 to 3 hours................10 mins.................. 10
3 hours 1 to 3 hours 30..... .......15 mins....................15
3 hours 31 to 4 hours 59..... .......20 mins.................. 20
5 hours to 7 hours................... 30 mins...................30
7 hours 1 to 8 hours 59..... .......40 mins..............40 or 20 + 20
9 hours to 10 hours 59...............50 mins................30 + 20
11 hours to 12 hours 59..... .......60 mins............. 40 + 20 or 30 + 30
13 hours or longer..... ..............70 mins..................40 + 30

i have my 20 mins b4 i leave the office and 30 mins while out on delivery (duty 10 hrs) but to be honest it dont feel like iv had a break sitting in a van for 30 mins cramped no hot drink people in jail are more comfy

Really? First I've heard of that. The only similar thing I can think of is 10 minutes grace relief, work permitting. Is that what you are referring to?

Every planning value has a %RA built into it ... this allowance does not form part of your scheduled meal breaks.
