SWW LTB:RM up to their old tricks again!

Dear Colleagues,

We are receiving reports that Royal Mail managers are attempting to move forward with the SWW despite there being NO nationally agreed guidelines or options for the introduction of the SWW from the 28th January 2013. This is despite the CWU fielding a number of documents (some prior the Christmas) to Royal Mail and arriving at a posiition last week where we thought there was only 1 sticking point. Since then Royal Mail have moved their position again. If Royal Mail attempt to introduce this without agreement this should be met with a disagreement, and Royal Mail informed that this is executive action and contrary to the BT2010 agreement. The SWW is being discussed by the Postal Executive today and will come to a decision which will be communicated to Branches later today.

Just read the Managers brief pack about the SWW,oh yes they are planning to implement this with or without agreement on Monday 28th January.
So if talks fail tomorrow high chance they will !!! I do hope our National Officers grow a pair and without fail withdraw any co-operation with revisions or that World Class Mail.Otherwise how far do we have to be bent over to be shafted yet again.

We've been told that there upping the testing of staff big time ,and if anyone fails a few times they will be out of a job ! Guys of 25 yrs service etc tested all the time ,,so the last 25 years they've gave to the rm they've bin useless yeah?

An office like mine is still awaiting the joys of a DMR - going to disagreement alongside refusing to delivery lapsed duties will have a very immediate impact at my DO and certainly get the attention of the DSM.
