Great icy slips.

Anyone managed any slips and slides of Olympic standards in this icy weather?

Yesterday i pulled off the perfect 2 footed vertical to horizontal back plant on about 2mm of snow covering a 4 ft square sheet of ice followed by a quick springing back up and dusting of snow away from my arse crack.

It would've been 6.0 all round if the judging panel had been in attendance.

Usually i only manage a kinda awkward splits although many years ago i pulled off the trip over 6 inch high snow concealed bit of concrete to pinned face down by full delivery bag in 1 foot of snow.
(This was about 5ft from the delivery office door).

I once slipped at the top of an outside set of stairs bounced down the first flight,tried to stand up on the landing then promptly fell down the second flight.
A crowd was gathering by the time i hit the bottom step.

Delivering a quite posh area sort of sliding the feet forward as you do but the drives sloped downards, turned to go down a drive a sort of penguin shuffle when both feet shot out from under me, up flies the legs and down on my back but luckily the bag was under me so no damage - however a woman was across the road loading two kids in the car, she and her kids absolutely shrieking with laughter, as you would , but she did have the good grace to come across ask if I was OK and to apologise - but I did feel an idiot.

Did the half split , span round and did a graceful dismount on the floor,all by the van door. Olympic Gold.

same, i slipped on a marble floor in the snow and just walked away. i was probably just a metre away from the letter box but weren't going to chance slipping again.

Yes - although I would contact the manager either there and then, or more likely on return to office.

I endorsed two rows of a frame yesterday, if I don't think it's safe I don't go there.

Imagine breaking a leg or arm while trying to deliver the past few days, then in a few months time coming back to work for a stage disciplinary, no thanks. Self assessment rules.
