having left rm last year for greener pastures, i found myself on the market again rather too soon after. i applied for another postie's job at a neighbouring do, and, despite having done the job for 6 months, i received the following:

They were letting you down gently. Obviously you couldnt handle the job before , so you couldnt handle it now

Its a form letter and not designed to pass on real information. You may have been the best candidate but did not have the right "background" but as they don't have the capacity to have different rejection letters everyone gets the same one.
