£334 not inc del allowance (£360 ish total) before tax here.

You're being short changed.
The national basic pay rate outside London after 1 year service is £372.10 basic+£21.62 Del Supp.
£393.72 all in.

I started a week ago on a 20 hour contract.

My pay rate is £334.89 (pro rata = Circa £8.59 ph based on a 39 hour week) + Delivery supplement. I should get a pay rise after 6 & 12 months........ although my contract ends in 12 months.

However, I was only paid £137.39 Gross for a 20 hour week + £8.87 Del Sup (£6.87 per hour). Presumably the short fall was due to them not having received my P60/P45, and it should be made up to the correct amount in due course (backpay).
I am no longer a number :-)
