Greetings one and all.
Does anyone know the estimated arrival date of MTSF3?
A few guys at our place have been offered VR in September and we are not sure if the terms will be under
MTSF2 or MTSF3.
I am assuming the redundancy settlements under MTSF3 will be a lot less generous than under MTSF2.
Thanks alot.

MTSF is updated every time we have a major national agreement that affects it.db wrote:This is news to me! Didn't even realise there was a MTSF 1 and 2!
The latest version is MTSF 2010 which includes any changes involving the BT2010 agreement.

They were supposed to be negotiating the terms again.
How far they've got is anyone's guess...mine would be....not very.

Re: MTSF 3?
Have we got any major national agreements in the pipeline coming soon?
Or are we just waiting for privatisation?
From the sounds of it if VR is offered in September it should still be under MTSF2 terms dated 2010.

GUV: Do you want to take VR in September ?
ME: Under what terms will the payment be calculated ?
GUV: Errrmm.. don't know.
ME: So you want me to say yes to VR but you have no idea what amount I will get, and no reliable way to calculate it ?
GUV: Errmmm...
ME: Poke it !

Re: MTSF 3?
The MTSF agreement has been extended to cover all outstanding bussiness Transformation changes which will take place after March 2013. This includes Mail Centre closures , delivery revisons , RDC closures etc.
MTSF 2 still holds the field. VR terms have not changed apart from the fact that those over 64 can now volunter to take redunancy.
