Yes,as long as you only sever a few arms or legs,I think the limit is 4 or 5 ,the only time you might get into trouble was if you didn't have the regulation footwear on.

Not unless you have the correct insurance. But even then if Royal Mail have had a DM revision in that office and have therefore removed the bond and authorisation for PCOD you may not be covered if your insurance requires permission from your employer. I would also be unsure if the DOM when they given verbal permission, or even written, whether thats enough to say you are covered once as an organisation Royal Mail have withdrawn it as part of an agreement.

Wow a lot of grey areas for people to check on when using a PCOD after a DM.

As long as you are wearing your hi-viz you can maim(e) as many as you (u) like but don't forget to report it to your line manager.
There's also a useful document in the downloads section regarding the stuffing of private cars on delivery,
lol

Possibly, but it doesn't stop people from doing it .

Google Tarquin Quimm for an example - I did consider posting the pic on here, but it would probably get me kicked off the forum if I did :wave

Indeed there was a case in Brentwood covered in this thread http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... s&start=75" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and this news item http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/08/news1034.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

However the postie did not get time for it: (last post in same thread)
Following the verdict, Gunn was disqualified from driving for a year, given an 18 month supervision order and told he would be electronically tagged, meaning he must remain at home between 7.30pm and 6am until May 31.

Sentencing, Judge Alan Saggerson said: "It's a case where the carelessness is plainly there.

"You are plainly consumed with regret about what has happened. Given your fragile medical circumstances following the accident, I can deal with you by way of a community order."

Speaking after the result, Mr Paulson said: "The one thing I have learned from this is there are no winners and losers here – just losers."
