I'm sure there is someone who filters out the nonsense,the abusive and the dirty emails from DVB but if you have a genuine point to make,add your name and office i think they do get to her or at least someone in authority.

I think I'm just a skeptic (or I've been working here too long) - I think you probably get a reply if you're lucky from an office monkey who just puts a script they're given into their own words

I've used it.
I got an immediate reply with the name of the person who would be looking into my "problem/accusation/remarks.
Then some weeks later I got a further e-mail with a reply.

The problem was resolved at a higher level than me - not to my satisfaction but to the satisfaction apparently of the Area bods.

Oh, constructive emails get to her, especially ones asking why we being bullied and harrased by managers every day ??, and all i got was snide remark from my DIMm about emailing the whore, so whats the point ???

No point complete waste of time in my opinion plus your DOM knows you've tried to dob him in it.

I think the point is that managers don't like it.
It focuses a little bit of attention on the office, a little bit of attention that the DOM doesn't want.
He also knows it could happen again.
But it is certainly true that it also focuses attention on you, and if you don't like that heat, best to stay out of the kitchen.
