A REAL DILEMMA WHAT TO DO ?[please read]

i have a new park and loop partner this week a NEWBIE fresh off the street . He is replacing my driver so this is the story so far Day 1 he just follows the driver observing [not actually doing anything] Day 2 deliver the mail on each of the loops no packets unless fit thru letterbox, no large packets no recordeds trackers or specials no pda [driver just delivers what newbie cant do on thier loop only. meanwhile muggins me as normal two bags each loop] Day 3 newbie has to do everything while driver just observes still no pda so has drivers after all he is now just observing, guess what we went over + i had to deliver part of each of the loops he did and even took a few extra larger packets to speed things up. we were last back suprisingly a manager still there ,SO UPTO NOW NO PROBLEM A BIT TIRED BUT THEN. i went to book the extra hours i went over to be told no cant do that youll have to see the dom he wont want to pay you , my response was if thats the case i will work to my time and we cut off at finishing time ,line managers response was cant do that ,after a short response of i can and i will not work for nothing he just said get advise from your rep see you monday . BUT IT GETS WORSE THE NEWBIE CANT EVEN CLAIM TOLD BY ONE OF THE MANAGERS THAT THERE IS ENOUGH HOURS TO DO THE JOB SO TO GET ON HERE MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETE , THEN IT TURNS OUT HES ON A 5 DAY WEEK CONTRACT WHILE I AM ON A 9 DAY FORTNIGHT BUT HE STILL ONLY GETS THE SAME TOP LINE .THEN WHEN I BOOKED IN MY FINISH TIME I NOTICED THE FINISH TIME IS DIFFERENT TO MINE ,SO NOW WE HAVE DIFFERENT DAYS OFF AND HE SUPPOSED TO FINISH 1/2 HOUR BEFORE ME EACH DAY [WTF] WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DO MONDAY

Simple. If they won't pay you overtime. Then work to your time and no more. Get them to 'manage' what's left.

I would drive back to the office to drop the new lad back for his finish time then go back out again (so basically driving in circle) and return to office at my finish time. Just follow all the rules for returning mail to the office, work to rule etc.

By the way it sounds like a total balls up, 2 people going out with different finish times! WTF!!!?

I'd get the rep involved on Monday as soon as you go in. Sounds like they've screwed you over royally.

Work to your time,simple. Sounds like your revision has not been done properly and get your rep on to this. There is no way I would let my manager away with that,it's just typical of all the bully boy tactics these people have been using against staff. Always make sure you have a witness with you when you speak to doms,I do.

Our revision has been in 16 months ,this is because our dom hates the 9 day fortnight and is now employing people on 5 day rotate aided and abetted by people who should know better

I finish at 20 past the hour my full timer finishers at 10 past the hour, we always get back for the earlier time........

My finish time is also 30min before my van share partner. He is f/t and I am 32.5hrs. I claim any excess but do feel I'm being taken advantage of.

Your managers are all s**t.
Any rep who agreed to these timings is thick.
Everyone has the same finish time.
Your start time is then dictated by your contracted hours/day.
It isn't rocket science.
