extra delivery points

just been informed by my dom that as of monday i will be having an extra 41 delivery points added to my duty i am full time this baffles me as i am not finishing early or getting back to the office early either,he mentioned that i will be starting a bit earlier as he wants people out of the office on delivery ASAP,what i was wondering is if i am starting earlier my finish time should be earlier as well so instead of a 14.30pm finish it now should be 14.00pm am i correct in thinking this

You will be starting earlier only if it suits you, surely?

You only have so many contracted minutes of work to do per day, follow any "reasonable instruction" during those minutes. It sounds like you will have the daily choice of more overtime, or leaving more delivery points behind to finish at your contract finish time, taking into consideration that 41 extra delivery points will also need extra indoor prep time (sequenced; manual; D2D; redirections; packets; deads).

Dont you have to be told 4 weeks in advance of any changes to start time?
But if you start 30 minutes earlier, you then finish 30 minutes earlier , unless you want to earn 30 minutes O/T everyday but that is up to you if you want to finish at 2.30pm.
The DOM can't make you come in 30 minutes earlier without paying you O/T

The DOM should not be constructing a duty that is unachievable, this will cause you stress as every day you will have to have a conversation on what to leave behind, overtime is voluntary but with him constructing your duty to be to big he is expecting you to go over. Why is the rep agreeing to the change if its not achievable??

you do not have to work ot. If I was asked to come in early then i would it would mean finishing earlier. DOMs try it on. As rep at my office, I have to keep a tight rein on my dom who will try anything to override conditions. yes at our office we have those who will do anything but do not realise they will be treated the same as the rest of us when push comes to shove
