How much leave am I entitled to if I am on a 32.5 hour week contract and when does the year run from and to?

Also, what happens with my bank holiday entitlement?

Depends if you purchased extra and how long you've been at Royal Mail but its basically your number of hours multiplied by

On entry - Four and a half weeks.
After 5 years - Four weeks and 3.5 days.
After 15 years - Five weeks and 1 day.
after 20 years - Six weeks.

and when does the year run from and to?

April to April

Also, what happens with my bank holiday entitlement?

If it was your rostered day off and you work 4 or 5 days a week then you can get a day back in lieu. The agreement allows for the day to be taken the same week if operational viable, or to be paid as overtime. Most places though add it to your annual entitlement either for this year or the next.

If you work strange shifts though it can be complicated as to whether or not you are entitled to it - its a nightmare to work out.

Also, do you know how I can check my past and current leave entitlement? Just not sure if I have been given the correct amounts...

IIRC its from the first full week in April to the same week the following year

Your manager should be able to print it off.

Hi my husband and i both work for Royal mail, we van share but we can't get the same annual leave. We have been able to pick 2 weeks together my husband has now booked his next 2 weeks but they are not availabe to me. I only actually know this because i know who has booked them in my holiday set. We are now in January and I have still only been able to book 2 weeks as they have "not got round to me yet" surely this can't be right is there anything i can do about it. our DOM is the most non understanding person ever and will make things as awkward as possible especially if she doesn't like you! I would like to plan things but can't
