After 5 years of bullying by my bosses and some long serving colleagues, I have had enough.
I did something stupid and an old bitch grassed me to the Boss, I've been suspended.
I now have no option but to resign. Even if the Boss lets me off I can't go back and work with them bastards.
So Goodbye Royal Fail, it's been emotional. :wave

Your joking,no way should you get suspended for that. Get your rep on this,a lot worse has happened at our office and all they got was a slap on the wrist. He is obviously a pr..k. Saying that you probably better out of it. Good luck :dance

My cover guy pulls off recorded stickers and leaves them in the van for the boss to find. You'd think he could chuck them out the window at least.

This post in 8 hours got only 7 replies. But over 600 views! they all want to walk out but don't have a pair and dare'nt stand up to the bossmen. Until we ALL walk out, carry on :mad

I would imagine most managers would just give you a ticking off for doing what you did....can't ever imagine anyone would get the sack for something like this(but i could be wrong in the current climate)?
Whatever you decide to do....best of luck and keep your chin up...some of my old mates who left RM have all done well in life and are a lot happeier now than when they worked at RM..... :Very Happy :Very Happy

It is a serious offence,i know it goes on but i don't think members realise how risky it is but......it is unlikely to warrant dismissal unless you have previous for it and/or are sitting on a suspended dismissal/serious warning already.
Despite how you are feeling right now you really need to take steps to protect your job,you will regret it later because jobs with decent pay are hard to find.
Get your rep and branch involved as soon as possible.

Although FT is right about this............I do understand how recorded labels can fall off (I've had then hanging off packets that I've delivered) so although it really isn't right it can be explained.

I personally like to get mine signed for because that's what I'm paid to do and if I'm going to run out of time then I'll either cut off or book OT which is what everyone should really do.

Really? There are other ways than pulling off recorded stickers. Oops, I forgot is one of them. The PDA did not work (or was on the blink). Wilful delay is an offence but had to prove.

What is the penalty for signing a recorded for a customer under the misguided believe that one is helping the said customer? I work with a postie that signs for a firm/company - they are happy with the arrangement and even reward him with a generous tip but then they expect other posties to do the same :crazy:
