IN DEC 2010 I WENT OF SICK TILL APRIL 2011 WITH A TORN TENDON IN SHOULDER AND A REPAIR I WAS PUT ON A REHAB PROGRAM ALSO WAS PUT ON A FIRST STAGE WARNING BUT DID NOT GET THE WARNING FOR 6 WEEKS AFTER THEN LATER ON IN 2011 I WENT OF NOVEMBER TILL DECEMBER WITH DEPRESSION THINKING IF I WENT BACK IT I MAY BE BETTER AROUND FOLKS AS MY PARTNER OF TEN YEARS HAD LEFT ME ALSO I HAD CONCERNS OF LOSING MY COUNCIL HOUSE I DID NOT GET ISSUED WITH A STAGE 2 THEN BUT THEN IN FEB 2012 I WENT OF AGAIN WITH DEPRESSION AGAIN TILL MAY 2012 IN WHICH I WAS ISSUED WITH A STAGE 2 BY A NEW MANAGER MY UNION REP PUT A GRIEVANCE IN AS THIS IS COVERED UNDER DDA I HAVE RECIEVED A LETTER BEARING IN MIND THE GREIVANCE WAS PUT IN IN SEP 2012 TO SAY THE MANAGER WAS NOT UPHOLDING THE DECISION AND NOW I WENT OF IN OCT 2012 AND STILL OFF UP TO FEB AS I HAVE HAD THE OTHER SHOULDER REPAIRED AND HAVE A TRAPPED NERVE I IT I HAVE BEEN ON FULL PAY AND IT ENDS AT THE END OF JANUARY I HAVE HAD A LETTER SAYING NO PAY AFTER THAT BUT I HAVE HAD NO SSP PAY ON WAGE SLIP ONLY FULL PAY ALSO I WILL INCUR A 3RD STAGE WARNING FOR THIS AN ANY ONE SHED ANY LIGHT ON WHAT HAPPENS WOULD BE GRATEFUL MY UNION SAYS HE WILL FIGHT THIS ALL THE WAY AS WHEN I TOOK MY SICK NOTE IN LAST TIME I WAS IN THE OFFICE AND TOLD THE MANGER I WAS OFF TILL WHAT DATE WAS ON SICK NOT ANT ANOTHER MANAGER IN SAME OFFICE SAID HAPPY NEW YEAR SO NOW I GET MY PARTNER TO TAKE NOTES IN FOR ME I FEEL ALSO I HAD ATOS PHONE ME THEY SAID THEY WOULD SUGGEST TO RE REFER ME AFTER 23RD NOV IN WHICH I HAVE NOT HEARD I HAVE HAD ONE PHONE CALL SINCE BEING OFF

Trebor, how long have you been with Royal Mail? Secondly, how long have you been off sick receiving full pay? It should go down after six months to half pay for a further six months and then no further sick pay.

In dec 2010 i went of sick till april 2011 with a torn tendon in shoulder and a repair i was put on a rehab program also was put on a first stage warning but did not get the warning for 6 weeks after then later on in 2011 i went of november till december with depression thinking if i went back it i may be better around folks as my partner of ten years had left me also i had concerns of losing my council house i did not get issued with a stage 2 then but then in feb 2012 i went of again with depression again till may 2012 in which i was issued with a stage 2 by a new manager my union rep put a grievance in as this is covered under dda i have recieved a letter bearing in mind the greivance was put in in sep 2012 to say the manager was not upholding the decision and now i went of in oct 2012 and still off up to feb as i have had the other shoulder repaired and have a trapped nerve i it i have been on full pay and it ends at the end of january i have had a letter saying no pay after that but i have had no ssp pay on wage slip only full pay also i will incur a 3rd stage warning for this an any one shed any light on what happens would be grateful my union says he will fight this all the way as when i took my sick note in last time i was in the office and told the manger i was off till what date was on sick not ant another manager in same office said happy new year so now i get my partner to take notes in for me i feel also i had atos phone me they said they would suggest to re refer me after 23rd nov in which i have not heard i have had one phone call since being off

i have been off since october then had 2 month march and april

I would contact HR to see what you will be entitled to after your first six months are up.
