Cheers for the swift reply. I think next year will be the year when I try to get another job. Had enough of it all... so gonna at least give it a try. Shame as I loved the job when I first started many years ago too!!

I have looked for a new job in the last year and even though I am on a part-time 25 hour contract, I refuse to work 40 hours somewhere else for the same take home pay so I will stick to being a postie for now, or at least until I win the lottery

Totally agree with what you're saying. I won't jack it in for any old thing, but I'll at least give it a damn good try. Saying that I must be due that lottery win by now too!

about £80 a month down on royal mail (get paid monthly) but should increase with time prospect of promotion with the job much happier . Merry Christmas.
