WHAT TO EXPECT ON IHR PAYMENT
Does any one know what the payment may be for IHR if i have worked 12 years ?, atos have said IHR with lump sum.

i have just got ihr after 14 years and came out with 18 k.

34 weeks pay,tax free.
12 weeks Pay In Lieu Of Notice.
And any holidays owed,taxed.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

You won't get holidays as Pay is in lieu of any notice owed, ie it replaces it otherwise you would have to take your annual leave owed in your notice period and it would all be taxed

If there are exceptions they should be mentioned in the IHR agreement - we have a copy in downloads.

i looked at the agreement, been on to headquarters to clarify my position but unable to speak to anyone they seem to still be on hols ,i need to be clear on my position i have a meeting next week , been on the post for six years iam a few months away from my sixty-fifth birthday ,a H@S rep has said i will get a week per year of service ,but as i said reading the agreement it states after one year you qualify for the full payment am i right or wrong ,or maybe not that simple thanks in advance
