Re: Christmas Bonus
No - as long as you are employed by Royal Mail and on full pay (ie not half pay or no pay because of sickness) during the Christmas pressure period (normally late November onwards) you will get £100 pro rata (£200 next year)JiminyBillyBob wrote:How long do you have to been work with RM to get the bonus? is it at least a full year?
Although if you go official action its reduced by 3% for each day of the strike and 10% if unofficial (Midnight to Midnight).
Angardies and Royal Mail casuals don't get it, but RM permanent and temps do.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Christmas Bonus
Is it not reduced if you go off sick even for a short time during the Chrtistmas pressure period? We were certainly told by management anyone who went off sick from the 26th Nov would have their Christmas bonus reduced/cancelled.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:No - as long as you are employed by Royal Mail and on full pay (ie not half pay or no pay because of sickness) during the Christmas pressure period (normally late November onwards) you will get £100 pro rata (£200 next year)JiminyBillyBob wrote:How long do you have to been work with RM to get the bonus? is it at least a full year?
