earliest delivery start time

I understood 7am to be the earliest time we can delivery
Dims are saying 0645
who is right and do we have any documentation to support?

It is 07:00 before you can knock on a door if you knock on a door and the said customer complains you are in big sh!t as you have broken the term's of royalmails licence to deliver mail/packets never listen to managers who know nothing ask your union rep.

Surely this is about drivers on packet runs? I can't imagine a walk ready to go out at that time even with a night shift being put on.

0700 is the earliest for knocking doors, I don't think there is an earliest time for delivering letters. I have only been with RM about 5 years but when i started we could be out at about 0530-0600 on the lighter saturdays.

Supplementary Packet Delivery Service and Re Delivery
Most Delivery offices will introduce supplementary packet deliveries where required
from Monday 12 November until Monday 24 December;
A packet re delivery service may also operate on Sunday 23 December in addition to
the supplementary service.
These supplementary packet delivery duties will form part of the normal local
discussions covering Christmas arrangements and will take full account of local
circumstances in ensuring sufficient resource to cover the workload. They will usually
take place between 0700 – 1000 and 1500 – 2000 and no later than 2100 subject to
the local discussions.
In all circumstances employee safety and the security of mail must be assured.
Areas/Addresses identified as high risk e.g. deliveries suspended due to attacks,
robberies or problem dogs etc will be excluded from receiving this additional service.
