Gibraltar Parity pay and leave with UK Royal Mail

Was wondering if anyone out there can help us here in Gib.
On Monday we have a meeting between Union reps and the Gibraltar Government to talk about our ongoing problems with basic pay and annual leave .
We have had parity with royal Mail salaries and leave with posties from London for years now,but in a strike that we held over 5 years back we lost parity in pay due to a ballot fiasco.To cut things short there is a new Government in Gib that are willing to talk about this issue we have and on Monday we are having initial talks.Can anyone confirm the Basic Yearly Salary for a Postman in Uk before bonuses allowances etc,and the yearly leave entitlement.This would really help with our meeting.

currently here in Gib basic salary before any bonuses is £1499.25 per month gross £17,991 per year
we get 22.5 days leave a year 23.5 after 5 years

£372.10 pw for a full time postie outside London. All delivery posties also get a delivery supplement of £21.62. I don't know the London rates.

Leave is the same with 26 days after 15 years and 30 days after 20 years.

correction all full time posties get that delivery supplement it is pro rata for part timers as is the pay

Hi gibpostie, the weekly pay for an OPG is £393.72 full time, this does however include delivery supplement
I believe the leave entitlement is the same, hope this helps you :wave :wave

By looking at the posts i gather Sorters get a different pay can anyone confirm their pay for my meeting tomorrow,thanks

MC'ers are on the same basic as us,their allowances are different though.
Londoners get about £60-£80...ish extra london weighting depending on outer/inner.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
